Look at all the other games, they all have at least 6 languagues ( dubs & subs ), some even have 15 or more, meanwhile japanese companies are trying to make you pay for 1 stupid dub. I know the english dubs are really bad and hurt the ears, but you agree to pay for something like this, while they already have the japa dub ready for japanese people, its a company who is trying to milk the gamers, and it seems a lot of you actually enjoy getting milked.

It depends though, some games have battle quotes with no subtitles at all, so if they are in japanese you'd not exactly know whats going on/being said, but AFAIK, god eater and the tales of series have subtitles for these now, least the more recent games do. These clowns really need some hooked on phonics or something to help with that problem lol. Chie in persona 4 was one that had a voice actor who really sucked at japanese names.įF13 lightning returns had a japanese voice track you could buy seperatly for the game for I think it was 5 bucks? I'd pay that for the japanese voice track in a game I like.įrom what I notice the only ones who actually like english dubs are the neckbeards/illiterate jackholes who aren't able to read so they need it spoken to them. especally when insted of saying "chan" the stupid voice actress says "chunnn" or something completly off lol. It gets even worse: persona 3 and 4, using honofics just sounds akward as hell when its spoken in english. That and most english dub actors can't pronounce japanese names worth crap, I cringe sometimes at how horribly wrong some names are said. Not just that alot of the times they also quite often place the wrong voice with the wrong char completly screwing up the image that char was supposed to have. If you can mute voices,no problem,i buy the game ^^
